At RR Exports, we are equipped with advanced machinery and modern production techniques, operated by our skilled technicians and artisans. We offer complete in-house production, with every stage carefully managed through specialized processes and dedicated machinery.
DESIGNING PROCESS
The design and pattern of each product are created in the initial stage of manufacturing. For this process, we have a dedicated team specializing in designing, pattern making, and product development. Once the design stage is complete, the manufacturing and production process begins.
PRODUCTION PROCESS
For Our Metal Products
Sand Casting by Hand – Metal is cast using traditional hand sand casting techniques.
Machining & Shaping – Filing, grinding, drilling, lathe, milling, tapping, lancer, and power press machines are used to transform cast products into standard forms.
Shot Blasting – Shot blasting removes grind marks and cleans cast iron products.
Tumbling – Tumbling machines provide additional cleaning and give the products a smooth, shiny finish.
Finishing & Polishing – Products are polished in multiple finishes such as Copper Antique, Brass Antique, Pewter, Antique Oil, Chrome, Nickel, Gold, and more (see our [Finishes Page] for details).
Electrostatic Lacquering – A protective lacquer is applied to enhance durability.
- Powder Coating – Available in Black, Brown, White, and Black & Brown Matte Textures for premium surface finishing.
For Our Ceramic Products
Ceramic products are highly handcrafted, which is why they are considered unique handicraft items.
Mud Preparation – Natural stones and clays are collected, mixed, and ground to form ceramic mud.
Refining – The mud is dried, filtered, and finely ground again for consistency.
Die Press Casting – Ceramic molds are placed in die press machines to shape products such as ceramic knobs.
Hand Surfacing – Products are carefully smoothed by hand with water to remove excess mud.
Initial Firing – Fired at 800–900°C in a tunnel kiln for the first round of hardening.
Second Surfacing – Additional smoothing is done after the first firing.
Hand Painting – Skilled artisans hand-paint each product with intricate designs.
Glazing – Transparent glazing is applied using a chemical glaze solution.
Final Firing – Products are fired again at 1100–1200°C for 24 hours, giving them strength, durability, and a flawless finish.
